Škoda ker ne delajo Hrvati lokomotiv za nas.Tko da malo širimo ljubav še na Jug.
Osnovni problem na svetu je v tem,da so budale preveč samozavestne in pametni vedno v dilemi!

Škoda ko Blue Tiger ni več v programu Bombardierja, bi bilo enostavno za delat modele.

EWS (now DB Shenker) bought 250 of them, then Freightliner, GBrF, DRS and several other operators also bought the same locos. The UK is flooded with US imports (because they are cheap - in money and build quality). Occasionally earlier British-built ones are used, but not often. At the same time electric locomotives are being rebuilt and sold for use abroad, when they should be used here.

I see, then it is natural response. To be honest, the collection of our locos is good but small. And I have a feeling that in next few years, we'll see only one electric loco on our railroads, it is not hard to guess which ones. To be even more boring it will be in one livery only - thankfully those adverts do make driving park a little more interesting. With this point of view, I envy bigger countries like Italy, Germany and France as they have many different types of locos.

what do you think about new GE locos which were just delivered to the Freightliner? I have seen cute logo - "Partners in innovation"...

British locomotive and wagon building died when our freight trains were privatised. Bought by EWS (an American company), they immediately ordered 250 General Motors locomotives (but built in London, Ontario, Canada). At the exchange rates then, they were cheap, unfortunately also cheap quality. But they are much more fuel-efficient and cheaper to maintain. Wagons are now imported from Eastern European countries, again, it is much cheaper than buliding here.
At least the new GE Powerhaul locomotives will give us some variety. Most think they are very ugly, but I am already beginning to like them. They are more powerful than the 66's and modern (the 66's are already old technology).

Da CoCo ne smejo, zgleda res, saj je ni ene. Bi pa lahko na BoBoBo šli (veliko strojevodij se joče za E655, 656, 632, 633 in 652).
Pendolina niso izločili, ker ni bil za vožnjo, enostavno TI ni smatrala to povezavo rentabilno. Če imajo SŽ en par milijončkov za nabasat SCMT na par modrih dirkačev (rezerva mora bit), potem se lahko ponudijo za potniško povezavo med Slovenijo in Italijo (Trst, Benetke).
