Piko ES64 Dispolok
Piko ES64 Dispolok
My latest locomotive acquisition is a Piko E189 Dispolok in OBB livery, but this will be relettered for SZ. It runs very well and was very good value (about one third the price of a Roco model). I have fitted it with a DCC chip and would eventually like all my locomotives to have sound, but not sure there is space for a speaker.

Goran, it took me a while to get the body off, but it is only one screw to remove underneath, offset to one side. The body then just lifts off.

There were no instructions with mine how to dissassemble so I just had to hunt for the fixing. But no need to remove the buffers, unless yours is different, for some reason.

There is a sheet with mine to show where to oil and also an exploded diagram of every part and where they fit, but no mention of how to take off the body!
However, I now have the chip fitted so all is well. I don't think there is space for a speaker though if I wanted to fit sound. But it would be interesting to see if yours differs from mine.
